SOUTH SHIELDS, EAST BOLDON AND ACROSS SOUTH TYNESIDE

Music lessons for schools in South Tyneside.

Musical Mates Ltd teaches in primary schools across South Shields and East Boldon, and has worked with North East schools since 2011. We work with more than 70 North East schools in total, and were named The Best Music School in Durham 2026. Every teacher holds an enhanced DBS check, wears a Musical Mates photo ID badge and is observed twice a year.

Where we teach in South Tyneside: primary schools in South Shields and East Boldon, with Jarrow, Hebburn, Whitburn and Cleadon all within our travel area.

Good to know: our lessons sit alongside Gateshead and South Tyneside Music Hub provision, and Pupil Premium can be used to subsidise lessons for disadvantaged pupils. A three-week trial lets you see a teacher in action before you commit.
